You will find all the details that made the first game so exciting: the powers, the humor, the smart ideas, some puzzles and a great music. There is a real story connected to the first game. It is actually nice that you don't really have to move in the environment but just enter minds.If you liked Psychonauts, don't hesitate and join Raz and the team for this great adventure.. If you played the original Pyschonauts, you should like this. Even if you didn't it still would be quite fun. The Developers took a clever route to handle movement issues with some quite trippy perspectives that made this sure game a joy to play.. This game simply was not fun for me. It failed to use VR in any interesting way other than being located in the environment. Its simply a point and click adventure based off where your headset is looking. No motion controls used, seated experience. I payed $6 for this on sale and still feel it was a bad choice. Played for about an hour but I doubt anything change moving forward as the hour was all the same actions in different environments.. Good story.Good characters.Good game.. The game is stationary and doesnt let you move. There's no real interaction with hands, only the psychic powers you have. Infact you dont have any hands and the psychic powers controls works poorly in some cases. The tutorial is confusing, almost no graphic options (like turning of AA), AA is killing the immersion and making everything blurry. The game seems to be a game aimed at kids, so not for me. I got this game at 75% discount and I'm still requesting a refund. On the bright side the cartoon graphics should appeal to kids and animations are fairly well done. There's enough to click and play with to keep a kid interested.. Excellent game! Funny, great voice acting, great music, not too hard to solve (except for the baggage car - took me a while). Loved the 60's retro style. LIke a lot of VR games, a bit short. But well worth playing.. Instead of using the room boundaries VR hardware provides for free, this game inexplicably blinds your view if you move outside a narrow space (vertically and horizontally) without telling you where those boundaries are (and it seems to drift) or pausing the game, which makes it utterly unplayable.. Really nice animations! It's like watching a well done cartoon. Really good music and voice acting.Short at 2.6 hours, for what I paid its about $6.16 per hour, cheaper than a movie ticket for Ready Player One which is about $8.01 per hour.While the controls are simple, it's worth mentioning that you can use abilities simultaniously!. If you've played the original I'd say this is essential.The controls on Vive are a little tricky but the thrill of spending time in the world is totally worth it.. Can't recommend it if I can't really play it. Keeps telling me I'm outside the game area. But since the entire screen is black with nothing but the sign I have no idea where it thinks the game area is. I've recentered and everything. Was able to get it to work for a while once but I can't recommend it when it's got such a terrible solution to being outside the game area. Why black out the entire screen?
